Corrosion protection without oil or grease

Our BRANOrost® corrosion protection papers made from high-quality kraft paper protect your iron, steel or cast iron products with proven premium VCI quality. They release their VCI inhibitors (VCI: Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors) in the packaging until the protective atmosphere is completely built up – corrosion protection and packaging in one.

Your metal parts are effectively protected against rust during transport and storage, even after briefly opening the packaging, e.g. during customs inspection. They do not need to be cleaned after unpacking. The VCI papers work both on contact and at a distance and can be used as individual wrapping, intermediate layers, for lining entire containers and as VCI dispensers.

With FERROGARD® we also offer a VCI paper for the rust protection of chrome, tin and pure aluminium; with MULTIguard® a paper to also protect zinc, copper, brass and bronze against corrosion.

Innovations

New: for special applications such as electronic parts

BRANOfol® Multitron is a three-layer film that provides particularly effective protection against water vapour (another 50%), oxygen and air pollutants. It is particularly stable and tear-resistant, yet flexible and easy to handle. With tarnish and double corrosion protection, it was specially developed for the electronics industry so that even delicate electrical components with copper, for example, are reliably protected against rust. This variant is also available with an electrically conductive finish.

BRANOfol® Multiprotect also protects against diffusion of the VCI molecules through the film to the outside. Thanks to its four-layer structure, this corrosion protection film is therefore even more efficient. This increase in VCI quality combined with the additional moisture barrier means that this coex film requires less material without sacrificing effective corrosion protection. Less raw material used, same effect, more sustainability.
